Also, I thought it would be nice to NOT schlep car seats.

But it will cost $90 for 4 adults and 2 kids for the DL Express and that's with the $3 coupon.

    So now I'm thinking:
Take a taxi or a limo??
I've read that you can get the flat rate of $35 with a taxi, but does that also go for a taxi VAN? There will be 6 of us.

    OR hire a limo?
I've read about people getting quotes for $65 and up for a limo. Which is still cheaper than the DL Express.

So now I feel like a bad Mom, my 6 yr old is 4'4" and 70 lbs...sooo maybe he doesn't need a car seat?
And I can bungy cord the booster seat for my 3 yr old onto the suitcase.

    Your thoughts?

Are taxis lined up at the PPH or do they call a taxi for you to get to the airport?
If you take a taxi from the airport to DLR? do you have to haggle over the $35 flat rate? or is it commom knowledge?

I've never taken a limo. They've always been over $100 and why go to the extra expense? Limos are very uncomfortable, IMHO, anyway.

I believe taxis wait at the hotel (they do at GCH and DLH), but if not, it's very quick and easy to arrange a pick-up.

I'm going to bring a bungee cord for the booster so I can strap it onto my luggage.
I'll put it in a duffle bag/backpack of some sort and check it with the luggage.

I recommend just taking the public bus, LA Metro route 460 goes from the main Bus Stop on Harbor next to the tram loading area to Knott's in about 20 minutes (it is an express bus), $1.25 per adult one way, and the bus runs about every 30 minutes most of the day and evening.
