If the taxi drops you off at In N Out, I don't know how you'd find one to get back. <-- a Californian who lives by an In N Out and doesn't get the huge appeal. OCTA Route 43 runs up and down Harbor Blvd about every 15 minutes most of the day. The trip is about 3 miles north of the DLR at the corner of Harbor and Orangethorpe. $1.25 one way. Just find a northbound bus stop on Harbor Blvd, about a 20 minute trip once you board. The bus has vocal announcements, and the Northbound stop is right in front of the In-n-Out. Your other option is a taxi, about $10 plus tip one way. If you buy a lot of stuff, maybe the bus going to the stores, and a taxi on the way back. There really aren't taxi stands in Orange County (other than airports and major hotels, and places like Disneyland) so make sure and get a phone number for the hotel front desk prior to leaving if you plan to get a cab back.

As for other options, a taxi is around $100 plus tip most of the day, it could be a bit less in light traffic, or more in rush hour traffic. Shuttle Vans are the other main choice, but they tend to drive around looking for fares until they can fill up the van, which means you are crammed into a bench seat. Also, there is a decent chance some of the riders live in the area and want to be dropped off at their homes, which will add to the time it takes to get to the Disneyland Resort area. And then there are the Private Cars and Limos, which are more expensive than the other choices (though some of the cars are close to the taxi fare, and the benefit is, it is a fixed cost, and not dependent on the meter, which adds "waiting time" in slow traffic. So take the Airport Bus, it is popular, and is a good option.

We're planning on taking the bus to the outlet shop and dinner based on recommendations of how easy the bus is from these boards! Thanks.
