I crashed the park in the late afternoon and the crowds were.. to say the least.. uncrowded, but not slow by all means. The Festival's theme this year appears to be "Love and Romance", and who could not use some of that from time to time?? Especially most of WDW's APers, right?? So, with that theme in tow, the Horticulture artists at WDW have tried to recreate a romantic atmosphere for the Festival, and by golly! they succeeded!! The centerpiece topiary, Tunnel of Love, feat. Donald and Daisy is inspired and stunning. It's nice to see Donald getting to play a romantic lead for a chance since it is something Donald does not get to do much in his cartoons. Besides, I am sick of Mickey being in the center of it all and am glad he is relegated to World Showcase this time. Can we do the same with Mr. Weiss?? ..Never mind. Here is the obligatory pictorial to go along with the "quality control walk", complete with catty comments (you know you love reading those, don't deny it) and enjoy the glory and pageantry of this year's EPCOT Flower Fest. I am amazed they can still find ways to present the same old topiaries and make them look great in new settings!!! Kudos. Enjoy the pics. http://albums.photo.epson.com/ j/AlbumIndex?u=4334673&a=32159702&f=

Nice presentation.

And you don't look like a cow ... not compared to the average WDW guest anyway ;-)

That centerpiece is nicely imagined -- it's beautiful. I really liked a lot of the gardens, too. "I like the simple elegance of this year's Festival banners. Do you see what I see in this design??" Uhh, no, I couldn't find whatever it is! Gimme a clue, please!
