A fitting tribute to Disney's origianl teen beach movie start I also couldn't help but think how much it looked like the old Pizza Oom Mow Mow at DCA. Obviously that was also themed to the old beach movies, but there were a lot of similarities between the two. It would have been a great location for some tie-in entertainment in the park

Definitely something I wouldn't have thought of, but totally true to the genre I did think that the whole feminist theme was a little strange and heavy handed, but I guess I understand what they were trying to go for. Disney is constantly announcing that they've finally created a "modern" princess, so I guess this is just another step along the way to try and have strong female leads. Still I would have preferred for a strong female lead who wasn't quite so heavyhanded

In the HSM movies, they didn't actually kiss until the end of the third movie, but at least they played it as a running joke, where they would go in for the kill and someone would run in between them. This one just felt a little odd; I'm pretty sure she kissed his shoulder at one point, but that's as close as they got
