Tepan Edo Delayed ...

    And that is that Tepan Edo's reopening has been delayed. I was told 'until October' ... a friend of mine was told that right now it's only scheduled to be down until 9/15.

    I somehow think no one will be dining on Japanese cuisine until close to Thanksgiving, myself.

    I did make a backup reservation for Morocco for the day I have Teppan Edo booked. I would certainly say to go ahead and do that, for anyone booked through October.

    FYI, this project has been delayed since last December when it was supposed to start. It's been pushed back about 4-5 times before the finally closed in April and started gutting the place.

    So it's no surprise at all they are so far behind.

    I have a ressie in October and am hoping it'll be done, but I'm not optimistic.

    We have a few Japanese steak houses up here, so it's not quite unique, but the kids will miss the show the chefs put on.
