LOL Disney IS cheaper. Parking was the same price as Disney, but I didnt have to pay because I became a passholder today. The parking stunk. It was so disorganized. It was disorganized when it came to boarding rides too. Nobody was there to direct you where to go, a lot of people became confused because they were trying to keep their party together. All in all, I loved Busch Gardens, I really did have a good time, and I am so glad I became a passholder. But I wanted to express my thanks for Disney making things a bit easier! lol!

We've had such a good time at SW that we put off getting our APs for WDW until earlier this year. We still maintain or SW passes. Sea World has come a VERY long way over the past 5+ years. They have been continually shaping and improving their park. While their rides and fireworks haven't quite matched Disney's spectacle they are steadily improving year after year. Service will have to be their next mission. They have been listening to their guests - adding rides - 3 of them this year (and they took out a playground to make room for a kid's rollercoaster) - changing their shows to be fresh - breaking ground on a new water park. Sea World is showing that they intend to be a competitor in this market for a long time. Yeah, WDW is still the #1 destination but the world is getting a little bit smaller for Disney and they really need to seriously evaluate where they fit into the competition. In my opinion Disney is playing like a professional sports team that expects to win but isn't doing much to develop its talent or nourish what talent it has. This spring, SW and Universal showed that they have an interest in attracting quality personnel by upping their starting wages by as much as 50 cents an hour - making Disney the lowest paying entry level theme park resort in Central Florida. To the best of my knowledge, Disney has not responded to this rate hike - again sitting complacent that the talent will come to them simply because they are Disney. While I'm sure this is true to some extent this can't bode well for Disney's future. I work at a hotel in Orlando and had a mediocre(at best)contract security guard that went to Disney, interviewed, and got a job all in the same day. I asked her what job she applied for and her response was "I didn't care I just want the free tickets". If that is the level of enthusiasm and dedication from a cast member that Disney wants to hire on-the-spot their service is in danger. I'm not trying to be overly critical of Disney but two things tend to make one critical of Disney - First, Disney set a very high standard for themselves 50 years ago that gained the attention of not only guests but corporations around the world - a model that was replicated here in Florida 35 years ago. Second, there are generations of Disney guests that remember how those standards were executed and have something to compare the current standards to. While things are looking bright in the animation world for Disney (Ed and John have animators whoopin' and hollerin' again) it's time for the same to start at WDI and the management of WDW. If not, the next time someone goes to Busch Gardens, Sea World, or Universal there may not be any differences that pop out.

Six flags which I love the roller coasters and Cedar Point Park in OHIO for theirs to, but Disney has to many good things that blows away everyone else. WDW for life
