    You don't HAVE to have a reservation. You can make one the same day. But get there early, or call from City Hall.

    However, Cafe Orleans has Monte Cristos as well, and I think they taste better. Maybe because you can see it.

    And you can get the garlic fries.

    We have eaten there 3 times since mid November and all were walk-ups and our longest wait was 10 mins.

    I've eaten at Blue Bayou years ago and I remember it being much better than it was this go-around. I paid $30 for a small chicken breast, three or four bites of potatoes, and some spinach--oh and I got a dinner roll. For a family of 5 with an AP we spent almost $200. That included drinks and a dessert.

    and i just called for the BB and they said it was still booked..so i think Cafe Orleans is where I"m headed today. =)is there anything else on the menue that i should consider trying? deserts?
