However, the same thing might happen for Easter, so I can't really answer your question.

Good question... and if you are a resort guest, are you guaranteed admission into the parks...

If I understand correctly from what others have said here before, onsite guests are the last to be denied admission - first is CMs getting in free, but onsite guests are the last from what I've read.

I know the last few years I've heard on the news that MK had to stop admitting guests for a period of time on Christmas Day.

MK has reached capacity and closed the gates for the last four Christmas Days (although the rain in 2004 allowed them to re-open). I've done Easter at WDW as well and never thought it was as crowded anywhere as it is Christmas Day through January 1.

Education on Maximum Occupancy...It only applies to enclosed Structures.

In other words the F.D. wouldnt have an issue about how many people are in the park..as long at the buildings werent over crowded past their safe occupancy.

Plus WDW has is own Fire Dept. (Reddy Creek FD) though Im sure this doesnt mean they can exceed occupancy.

But heres my question....Why would you want to visit the parks at Max Occupancy.
Especially if its hot...sound like a day to stay at the pool to me.

Could it be that nowadays it's Spring Break instead of Easter Break, smack dab in the middle of the semester, and thus, this past weekend was outside getting out of school time? At least, that's a theory we were discussing yesterday.

We didn't do any of the other parks, but did have the special Easter Lunch at Olivia's and that was really nice to see (and eat!)

I didn't check to see if it was true, but I think that is fairly hard to believe, since it was so early in the day.
