But you don't realize that many of the folks in charge have no brains at all. Or they're only concerned with their own self-interests. If Disney won't even spend the TINY amount of money to swap out the regular show for the Christmas one this year, or the Vacation version for about a decade now, why would you ever think Disney would consider freshening up stale products at stale parks?

My family and I liked seeing the Bears' original show during our first trip to WDW back in '03, but my sister and I both agreed we preferred the Vacation Hoedown show, most likely we were used to seeing it all the time, and the show is livelier. I know this is a WDW thread, but this, I believe, was the show's rundown at DL: 1972-1986: Jamboree 1986-2001: Vacation Hoedown 1984-2001: Christmas Show After hearing all three shows on the Musical History of DL CDs, I found it neat how the Bears all had new personalities/characteristics for the seasonal shows (ie LiverLips being Elvis, Terrence being goofier and being accompanied by an animal, etc). In Tokyo's version of the Vacation Hoedown, Trixie sings "Achy Breaky Heart."

And please do not use the person that speaks for Mater in Cars hillbilly fakeness for goodness sake. Dear WDW please return some of the simple Magic to the Magic Kingdom. I do not understand the disrespect shown to The Diamond Horseshoe and Country Bears and Carousel of Progress. I am still disheartened that the former Kodak theatre on MAin Street was turned into a DVC Meeting/SAles Venue and then into the new gift shop meetngreet for Magician Mickey. I also want to know what happened to the 101 Dalmatians and the STeamboat Willie and the Snow WHite miniature staged photo opportunities that were back in this theatre area. ALso what happened to Mickey and Minnie's homes? I know they were not salvaged but surely they needed to just be saved and moved for future location. Of course you could always tear down everything for more executive parking!

But changing up the show would be nice -- especially for the Christmas holidays.
