At Walt Disney World parks they put up conical shaped metal frames and then attach cut off tree branches to it to form the shape of a tree. Then they decorate the branches wired to the frame and call it a "Christmas Tree".

    At Disneyland, it's still a real tree picked each year by hand from a NorCal forest.
