Iger and the current himbos at WDI view the MK experience as an irrelevant, obsolete, arcahic experience. That riding epic E-Tix like JC, Pirates, Mansion is no longer good enough and that the entire park must be turned into a giant interactive video game. This is the most dangerous thing WDI has done since Midway Mania.

This is the 21st century and whether we like it or not, some things must change to keep pace. I personally do not intend to utilize any of this technology but I bet my grandkids will love it. If they do, they will bring their kids later in life. I do not see the harm or the end the parks. They also will like JC, Pirates and Mansion. One doesn't need to end to completely make way for the other. It just makes the parks more relevant to the times we live in. I believe that a guy named Walt Disney said that the parks will never be complete, that it will change to keep up with technology and upgrades.

That being said, if Disney representatives want me to change my tune, they can send me a PM!

And meh, I don't see this being the end all, as long as it stays out of my way. KPSWA is like this, I think, and I don't mind it.

They want to ERADICATE/REPLACE the experiences we've had for 56yrs and replace it all w screens, videos, interactivity, whatever you wanna call it. It started w/ Midway Mania and this is the next step.

Harry is a big thing right now and frankly, it would be stupid to think that they could possibly surpass it for the moment. It's there, let it have its run and wait for the juices to slow-up. It will happen. That doesn't mean that Disney can sit on its collective butt and not plan for later, but for now all they can do is wait it out. Disney still has history and tradition on its side...all will be OK as long as they don't forget how it felt to have Universal kick those butts for awhile.

There certainly has been more research and investiment spent on that endevor than any recent rides/ attractions in any of the parks.
