After I tucked him into bed, I went downstairs to walk the dogs. He comes downstairs in him pajamas with tears rolling down his cheeks and a quivering lip. I asked him "what's wrong?" and he said "I don't have any liberty because there's always RULES whaaaa!" I calmed him down and told him rules protect us and help us live longer. I also told him freedom is just as hard as rules because we have to deal with both good things and bad things. I thought that was a funny story.

After he grows up he can stay up as late as he wants to on the week-end, and he can eat ice cream for breakfast if he wants to. That is until he gets married.
