Over the past week, we've gone thru all the lands of the Magic Kingdom. I asked him what his favorite land is and he responded "Liberty Square". (?) Expecting him to say "Tomorrowland", "Fantasyland" or others, I asked him why. He said because I told him liberty means freedom and freedom means you get to make your own choices and do what you want. So now he wants to go to Liberty Square and do ~anything he wants~! After I tucked him into bed, I went downstairs to walk the dogs. He comes downstairs in him pajamas with tears rolling down his cheeks and a quivering lip. I asked him "what's wrong?" and he said "I don't have any liberty because there's always RULES whaaaa!" I calmed him down and told him rules protect us and help us live longer. I also told him freedom is just as hard as rules because we have to deal with both good things and bad things. I thought that was a funny story.
