Does this pattern usually continue all the way into October, because reading Deep Disney this week the site says the crowds have settled down a bit. Now I'm thinking this could be because of the Thyphoon that hit Tokyo earlier in the week, or it could be because less people visit during this time of the month. Seeing that I always end up hitting the crowds during Halloween, I'm just interested to know if Halloween has a quiet time?
Originally Posted By The Goddess Mara I was there during the typhoon and it was very slow on Wednesday because of the rain, and absolutely dead on Thursday because of the wind (no rain, though, it was sunny). Halloween is a fairly busy period, though not as busy as Golden Week, Christmas, New Year's, and now Silver Week. The slowest time of the year is probably January, February, or July.
Originally Posted By SeaTokyo this is the first year at TDS to host a halloween celebration (plus they just opened TURTLE TALK and they have a special outdooor halloween show in front of TOWER OF TERROR too) so the park has been MUCH busier than normal, even in the usually lighter weekday evenings. it's the busiest I've seen TDS in years. but weekday evenings still beat going there on a weekend or holiday when it would be just crushed.

Thanks knowing this I see no point in changing possible dates around hoping for a least crowded time to visit during Halloween. The crowds don't bother me too much as its the price you pay for visiting during a peak period.
