Having said that here's the deal:

"The Year of a Million Dreams" promotion will be coming to an end soon. So what's the next big thing? What't the new catch phrase/slogan going to be?

Put on your creativity caps and let's see what we can come up with. Extra points for not using the words, "dreams," "magic," or "wishes" in your slogan. So, "The Dreamy Year of a Million Magical Disney Wishes" won't cut it. Hard to do without those words, isn't it?

LOL! It's something about celebrations next year, right? Birthdays...anniversaries...divorces...weddings...implants...I guess it's all good.

Maybe Disney could partner with AARP:

    "Heck! We're just getting started!"

That being the case, and with the closing of the attraction in DCA, perhaps they should use:

    "Disney's Golden Dreams"

I know it violates my rule against using the word dreams, but the theme works in so many ways now.

Get your minds out of the gutter, cretins. It's the new catchphrase from Disney, targeted to that oh-so-hard-to-please teen demographic. Imagine the TV commercial....

Quick-edit shots of the Matterhorn: Track! Caves! Laughing, screaming clean cut teens! Harold roars and the camera zooms in on his glowing demonic eyes...

"I gotta ride THAT!" shouts a young Goth.

Quick edit shots of Splash Mountain: Log banks around turns, water flying everywhere, the big plunge, a huge SPLASH!!!

"I gotta ride THAT!" cries a preppie boy as he yanks his MP3 player headphones out of his ears.

Rapid-fire quick edit cuts of : Big Thunder! Pirates! Space Mountain! Jungle Cruise! Toy Story Midway Mania! California Screamin'! GRR!

"I GOTTA RIDE THAT!" screams a large crowd of teens.

Disneyland Resort logo. Phone number. Fade to black.

Later, the phrase becomes a popular punchline for late night talk show opening monologues. Disney modifies the phrase to "I'm gonna go there!"™ in late 2009.
