    (Thank you, Ursula!)

All I have to say is that I'm not recommending you see this movie. I am TELLING you to see this movie!!

    It was fantabulous!

    Excellent script.
    Excellent sound.
    Excellent concept.
    Excellent production.
    Excellent mind trip.
    Excellent. Excellent. Excellent.

It's just a shame it's come out so early in the year and might be buried for the next Oscar ceremony.

Jim Carrey did such a great job that there were times I forgot it was Jim Carrey. And, who thought he was so hot?? There, I said it. I never liked this man's looks in anything. I always thought he was geeky looking. But I guess you give this guy a rugged look and some tribal tattoos and whammo! Hot stuff!!

Anyway, when you all line up to see this flick on Friday....(Friday is the 23rd by the way)...please come back here so we can discuss it. I'm dying to!!

But I was equally blown away. I am biased, because we mixed the score, the actual mix, the ADR, and the Foley...but the sound was so perfect for the plot. (I scheduled the ADR, Foley, and I do the billing for the scoring stage, and I am the ops manager where it was mixed...so I am a bit close to it!)

I can also see this movie being used for years to come in film school for reasons I will mention later on when others have had a chance to see it.

Not that I think this really is a reason, but there are no Friday the 23rds in the fall. In fact Today and next month are the only ones this year.

BTW I can't wait to see this movie.
