I don't see what disney could do with the track in the meantime, but it should still become active and do some sort of experience or entertainment to the guests, like maybe wall-e of the future can dart across the track... Its not that hard

To, wide emergency walk-paths/exit ways (where the PM tracks cut through buildings) So if they have to come down ... okay. And then build a new track in it's a place for whatever kind of ride to take it's place. But that's just it! They don't want to do anything. I want to give Disney the message ... That is not a course of action they should be taking for the future of Tomorrowland. The natural course of evolution is to take the next step up. Not a reverse back to a Tomorrowland like it was before - Just a random selection of buildings like it was 1955 to 1966! I'm not finished with this subject ... and will try to garner support on this later.

Why not design the new layout ... so that IT CAN accommodate some overhead ride of some kind ... connecting the various buildings, in the same format as the '67 PM did? You see this gold colored track circling Space Mountain, and a train on the tracks. Not that I would like to see that EXACTLY built for Tomorrowland. But you can see ... imagineers have been toying around with concepts ... Maybe not for Disneyland's Tomorrowland ... but are toying around with concepts with Rocket Rod/esque new types of rides that circle the land, and created some, very, needed kinetics to liven up the land.

Let's clear up the spaghetti bowl with the monorail tracks too, and relocate the monorail station back by small world mall. Voila - acres of new available space for development in the heart of the park. Land that can be used for new state-of-the-art attractions, as well as opening up an area to foot traffic that increases the overall capacity of the park. The possibilities are endless and exciting. Yet some people want to see those little buckets rolling around above a go-kart track. Again.

Originally Posted By Manfried <<Let's clear up the spaghetti bowl with the monorail tracks too, and relocate the monorail station back by small world mall.>> Better yet, locate the monorail outside of the parks and make it move people around the resort area, hotels, convention center and maybe even the train station.
