It wasn't that bad, but it wasn't good either. Paramount still holds the Indy distribution rights, but Disney already bought the Marvel rights back from Paramount, so maybe that could happen here as well. They could also work together to produce a fifth movie. Let's see if Ford is even involved in Star Wars Episode VII and then we can speculate about another Indy movie.

I don't think it was nearly as bad as people claimed (the Indy movies were always a little hokey), but it wasn't the best one either. I also agree with mawnck that Iger will increase the probability of this happening. Since he announced he's extending his reign once, there's really no telling what could happen before he leaves TWDC. I'm optimistic that he has too little time left to greenlight any new franchise reboots, but I'm also wary that he's not leaving any material in production for after he's gone As for the quote from the person in WDW, I think that's a bunch of malarkey. If Disney had any interest in keeping the Indy show (and brand) active, they would have updated it when the 4th film came out; instead we're watching the exact same show as in 1989.

But how adventurous can he be with a wife and a past-the-prime body? The ending just had that feeling of it being the last Indiana Jones movie ever.

I agree that a potential 5th film would have a different feel to it than the others, but I don't think it's entirely out of the question

I don't want to see Indiana sitting the whole time around. Dispite that, I wouldn't mind a fifth movie, but please skip Karen Allen and Shia La Bouef. These two characters were so annyoing.
