Eric & I are actually making FABULOUS progress in getting junk thrown out and things sorted through.

We've agreed to only save a few stuffed animals and give the rest either to SafePlace (local women's shelter that I think also houses children of abused women), or the local hospitals. Soooooo, some kids here in Austin who need cheerting up will soon be getting love from a new Mickey, or Tigger, or Pooh bear, etc. Woo woo!

Oh, and we found the perfect media rack at target.com - it's big enough that it'll hold ALMOST all of our DVDs, and since we're rearranging furniture, too, we'll have room for it in the dining area since the table is now in a different place.

This cleaning off of the current DVD shelves means we'll be able to pull our massive CD collection out of boxes OR maybe just allow us to store the CD boxes under the bed once we've made sure they're all mp3d... whatever!

Anyhow, today is a good day because while I love my husband and I'm very happy he took this week off also so we could sort and clean together, I'm glad he's going down to San Antonio tonight to spend the evening working on my Mom's computer as he & I drive each other crazy after a while and I have hope that him taking leave for a few hours today will enable us to avoid that this time! lol

lol labuda. I did the same thing. But if filled up from "borrowing" from other peoples iPods. So I brought it home and swapped in a 500gigger. SHould be good for a while. But it did take me about 2 weeks to integrate that collection with my home collection.

I wasn't ready to eat a breakfast before leaving for work and didn't fix myself a lunch. Coincidently our department decided to send someone out on a breakfast run. It came late enough to be brunch. So I am nourished for the day and can spend my lunch hour working out.
