They have a system that helps you find your number. You still will have some adjustments once you are at home. If you can't get to a store I think they have a video to talk you through it. I didn't end up getting one because of money at the time. I definitely will get one for the next mattress. The only thing about the temperpedic is that it retains heat. So if you sleep hot it will be very warm. My husband hates to be warm so it was a no go for us.

We walk into a hotel room and I go right for the a/c and my hubby tries to change it when I am not looking. I am always warm especially at night and I have no issues with our bed.
