Does anyone else have a Sleep Number, Temurpedic or any other high tech mattress that they suggest buying or not buying ? Funny, but clean, mattress horror stories are fair game.

You still will have some adjustments once you are at home. If you can't get to a store I think they have a video to talk you through it. I didn't end up getting one because of money at the time. I definitely will get one for the next mattress.

The only thing about the temperpedic is that it retains heat. So if you sleep hot it will be very warm. My husband hates to be warm so it was a no go for us.

My hubby is just the type to always throw off the covers(even in Feb. in Colorado). So when the sales associate mentioned the heat and my husband immediately said no.

Oh, and I'm jealous of everyone with a sleep number bed...I've wanted one for years, so maybe our next bed will be one. Or, we'll check out the Tempurpedic, but I sleep "hot", too, so we'll have to see.

We walk into a hotel room and I go right for the a/c and my hubby tries to change it when I am not looking. I am always warm especially at night and I have no issues with our bed. Just for what it's worth...

We've stayed at a couple of places that had Tempurpedics and I gotta say I realllly liked them.

I don't know if you are familiar with epinions but I like it. Here's a link to some reviews about Tempurpedic:

    and about Sleep Number:

(I have these sorted by date for you but you can change that and sort by rating.)
