In Heaven I believe there are angels singing on high. Glorious hymns and bells. The most beautiful sounds you will ever hear. In the other place I believe that you hear Paradise by the Dashboard Light by Meatloaf played forever and ever and ever and ever and ever.

I really want to like it (after all she was one of my 'idols'), but when she sings the chorus I can't help but think she literally sounds like a croaking dying frog... 'Gimme moo-aar'. Am I alone in thinking this? I can't really think of any songs off the top of my head that I would consider to be the worst of all time. But I'll be sure to chime in when I come across one!

Also also: ABBA's "I Have a Dream" I love ABBA (I'll admit it) but I hate this song.

Breaking the rules: while I think he's a great composer/arranger, Neil Diamond DRIVES ME UP THE WALL (not in the good way) so I'll throw in most of his songs. Except "America". The patriot in me loves it.

It's #1 With A Bullet on my list. Someone recently asked Dolly Parton, who wrote the song -- and who did an actual listenable version of it -- what she thought of Whitney's version. Dolly diplomatically said, "Well, let me say this. If I weren't already a wealthy woman, her recording of that song would have made me one." Also near the top of my list (and not previously mentioned): "My Ding-A-Ling" "Squeeze Box" And every other rock or blues song whose lyrics consist basically of a one-line dirty double-entendre.

Not in any particular order, here are ten recordings I wouldn't mind not hearing again: 1. Mrs. Miller, "Downtown" 2. Bee Gees, "Night Fever" 3. Kool and the Gang, "Celebration" 4. Johnny Cash & June Carter Cash - "It Ain't Me Babe" 5. Eddie Owen - "The Times They Are A-Changin'" 6. Leonard Nimoy - "If I Had a Hammer" 7. Collin Raye - "Circle of Life" 8. Pat Boone - "Crazy Train" 9. Village People - "YMCA" 10. Joss Whedon - "Something to Sing About"
