They also do the little Halloween cavalcade, which is like a mini-parade using a variety of old floats and costumes. The soundtrack is one of the most obnoxious in Disney's canon, but it's fun to try and see how many items you recognize from old DL shows and parades. It's maybe 10 minutes long, but it's cute enough

Be sure and look for the scarecrows. Last year they were at the entrance to Frontierland.

A fun family friendly vibe :)

Sorry if this is choppy but I have new contacts and they're really awful!

I booked a short trip down to DL thru Alaska Airlines Vacations and found out that I would lose half of one day of DL...(not DCA) if I did not purchase the Halloween party ticket...
I bought that over the phone straight from DL and it costs me 133.00 (I am sure that included shipping and handling).
DL is open until midnite on October 26 for this event and I don't want to be left with no where to go (when DCA closes...I think at 10)....plus, I love Halloween and am thinking it will be a fun thing to attend

One of my favorite things was just looking at all the cool costumes there were! The candy was great and had a bagful by the end of the night and also the fireworks were a wonderful addition to the party as well. I will be going this year, but as usual I have no idea what to dress as and will probably pull something off at last minute like last year.

To everyone who is going- have a great time and PLEASE post trip reports!
