It's a shame that the Cast member is getting blamed for this. I think or at least it looks like to me that the kid was trying to pull off his head maybe. He was on the Early show just now and when asked if he did anything to provoke his he acted so innocently and said no. And said he was sore. Talk about milking this! What a shame!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    What do ya'll think?

If you look at the video closly (as they do repeat it over and over) He's not "throwing" a punch. Just trying to get that kids arm away from the back of him.

The kid was doing something he shouldn't have been doing. I'm sure the actor's peripheral vision in non-existant in that character head. Father and son are milking it for all it's worth and then some. I hope Disney takes this to trial instead of settling out of court. This family deserves nothing other than an "Oops...sorry" from the person in the costume and nothing more.

At least I can take comfort in knowing that whn that kid gets back to school, he's going to be known as the guy that got his butt kicked by Tigger!

That dad is not upset, he is just excited thinking about the $$$ he could get from this. Shame on the media for playing it up and giving them airtime. I hope the Disney lawyers do not give them one dime - if they do it will lead to more incidents and ruin it for everyone else.

I hope they enjoy their fifteen minutes of fame, and I hope Disney stands firm, and this frivolous lawsuit falls flat on it's face.

It is obvious to me that this squirrely (sp) kid was ought to cause trouble. He had his hand behind Tigger trying to do something while the rest of the family is getting ready for the picture to be shot.

Most teenage boys are not in a hurry to hug the characters so that can't be why he had his hand behind Tigger either.

    Just my 2 cents.

The family probably planned this to happen.

he kid didn't get whacked that hard, plus take into consideration the padding on the costume. I swear, some people must go to Disney parks hoping somethng like this will happen so they can sue!
