I just got to thinking ... but I think the powers that be are going to push for Wall-E, Tron, and MILF in the not too distant future.

Wall-E and Tron .. if done right could be very enjoyable for the longterm.

But I'm very worried about MILF. I don't want to see the MISTAKE they created for WDW's Tomorrowland .. and repeat it here.

    So ...
I got this feeling .. this is the line-up we'll be seeing this decade.

    (Begin petitions against MILF today!)

Laugh Floor (it still confuses me to see MILF on this site) is very hit and miss. I saw it twice when I was at DW last. The first one was very meh, but the second time was a lot of fun.

As for the people mover I have never been on it, but I know a lot of people would be glad to use the rocket rods track.

    I'm only guessing here.....
But if they do wholesale demolition from Innoventions to R2P2 to the entire East "flanking" wing building of the Space Mountain complex .. and redesign the whole space to build front facades on TL's side of the DLRR .. and have tunnels running underneath the track (AKA - Indy, H.M, PotC, small world) to as many as 2 possible large scale buildings that would go in between the monorail tracks.

I don't know hista. Of course .. everything I'm saying here is nothing but a bunch of "hypotheticals". From stories from your's truly - Al Lutz ;)

All I'm doing is "placing my bets" that THEY ARE considering a Tron type attraction, and a Wall-E at least. Perhaps something else too. Because I see more space for other things.

As far as a Tron type ride for the Peoplemover track? I think not. The whole premise behind the LightCycles is exactly that - LIGHT. So, it's going to take a place where it's "controlled" lighting (ie - showbuilding) to maintain darkness in order to pull off this "cycle in the cyber world". Remember in the old Tron film .. and in the future one - the ride takes place WITHIN the computer world. If WDI is going to create a Tron Light Cycle ride .. wouldn't it be within the immersive world of "Tron"?

Seems a ride in open daylight .. circumnavigating throughout Tomorrowland is best suited for a "Peoplemover 2.0" type ride.

Lots of interesting ideas. MILF - *LOL* Don't have a clue on that one, since I don't know about any existing versions of that.

Make the ride vehicles look similar to the floating chairs the people rode around on. They would have to be enclosed somehow. Have video monitors in the vehicles with video clips of Fred Willard. Have show scenes in the buildings. Where space is limited, like in Star Tours, use large video screens. They could put a decent sized show scene with AAs in the Tron Speed Tunnel.

Only major drawback is the long outdoor portion over the Sub lagoon. Maybe reverse the direction so you go through Buzz Lightyear first and Star Tours last.

The premise that Earth has been trashed in the future is an AWFUL idea to recreate in a full fledged Disneyland Attraction. But just as hista98 said ... An attraction that is loosely based on Wall-E that stars him, and Eve .. and be a journey through outerspace ... that could involve the Axiom spaceship.
    <a href="http://z.about.com/d/kidstvmovies/1/0/J/H/walle010.jpg" target="_blank">http://z.about.com/d/kidstvmov...e010.jpg</a>

Just imagine some sort of adventure running through this spaceship. (Hopefully leaving out the grossly overweight people.) But an adventure that takes place well after people have re-populated Earth .. and thinned down.

But I could actually do without cartoon images of human beings.

I think Wall-E and Eve and other androids that were part of the film actually could work well in an aesthetic that does not come off "toony". Because I never felt the robot cast never looked too "cartoony". Nor the Axiom ship itself.

Just leave out the cartoon people, and all references that the Earth was trashed, at all.

Leave the focus on a journey that's totally plausible for a "brighter" Tomorrowland.

    Haha...that's great!

You have to admit though, a lot of Disneyland guests do look a lot like the people of the future already
