If they want to freshen up the show they should just give it a makeover. Keep the script identical but maybe re-record or re-mix some of the songs. Use updated instruments and/or musical variations. Update the animatronics: same characters but newer technology. Keep the original voices. Update the sound system and maybe even introduce a few new subtle effects: mist, fiber optics, etc. That's all kind of off subject, isn't it? Sorry.

There is also some new music and drums out in the patio. BUT... it is still the Tiki Room we all know and love.

NOPE. But for entertainment, and useful information overall? I like to have one with me for each trip.

Originally Posted By DlandDug >>Did they update the seating configuration or just the seats themselves?<< Just the seats. They took out the individual chairs and replaced them with long, padded bench seats with low backs. The configuration is exactly the same. The same bench seats were left along the walls, as well.

I would go if someone wanted to see it or if I had extra time, but that's it. I even fell asleep on it once at TDL lol.
