I am purchasing tickets (for a friend) in less than 24 hours from now so I was hoping to grab as much input as possible.

Put simply, I'm charged with getting the "best" seat, but they don't want me to pay premium price lol. I'm thinking the front row or the front few rows of the "regular" section might be okay, if possible, but I'm writing here to see if anyone has any secret hints or ideas that might make my choice a smarter one.

Keep in mind, I know NOTHING about Cirque, but I've been told that "too close" is not so good anyway, so I'm thinking the expensive seats might not be worth the extra hundred bucks anyway.

Here's the seating chart in question...

Thanks in advance for any and all advice! :)

We have seen Saltimbanco 3 times, once in the gods, once in the normal seats, and once ring side. The best view was actually the normal seats.

I've never had a bad seat for a CDS performance, even in the back section of Mystere.

Those are the seats we usually try to get when we see Cirque. When we saw Mystere in Vegas the only tickets they had available were far left "front view" seats. We saw OK but that would be my last choice of location.

I have myself booked for Regular Seats, and I'm looking forward to seeing it. Let us know how you get on and your thoughts on the show.

I'll keep that in mind, I'm off to get the tickets in a few hours. :)

(Malin, these particular tickets are not for me, but I do hope to see Cirque perhaps sometime next year and I'll be happy to share my thoughts then...sounds like a great show! Please let us know how you liked it too.)

Amazedgal, thanks for your advice. Thanks to you I got aisle seats in the very center section, regular price, about 5 rows from the front. Not too shabby methings.

Much appreciated the quick replies! :D

I have loved it in all areas, there does not seem to be a bad seat. Close (5th row) was awesome to feel part of the show, yet the second to last row still felt like I was not that far away. Love the music and wish they would make a CD!!

So, I guess you'd rate the repeatability factor of the show as high?
