    What do you all think?
Just a lot of hot air? It's a serious plan? What???

This will obviously be no small task. Not with track and beamway from the Monorail, Autopia, and Peoplemover to get in the way.

Ever since the Motor Boat Cruise closed in '92 ... I thought of everything for that location such as DLP's Alice's Curious Labrinth, to Little Mermaid dark ride, to DisneySea's Aquatopia .... NOW with a Tinker Bell dark ride ... I think it would blend in quite nicely within this heavily forested area of Disneyland.

I'll be very interested to see how they build a dark ride facility around all those support beams for other rides, and if the Autopia get a little re-routed .. to make room for the largest dark-ride showbuilding possible.

Even the most modest "C" level dark-rides need plenty of room, especially with all the latest building codes, and emergency "exit" space to get out .. etc, etc.

I'll take a wild guess .. and say this will be Disneyland's next addition for 2013.

    (Now about Tomorrowland................ !)

So ... who knows - C,D,E ........ we'll find out in the next couple years to come.

I just hope it won't be Winnie the Pooh (in Critter Country) ride length. Which I consider a "B". (A little too short.)

    Please...

If it does, I will burn my annual passport, pledge my allegiance to Walter and Cordelia Knott's and never return to Disneyland.

Because I will light myself on fire, as a form of non-violent protest.

I wouldn't be so sure. The Tinkerbell franchise generated an estimated $800,000,000 in sales in 2008.

If you look at the photo in the top link, you'll see that the monorail beam has a 'straightaway' section running east/west that could serve as a location for a relocated station. This area is east of the parade route entrance, and is bordered by the DLRR tracks on it's northern side.

If they're going to develop the motorboat lagoon into a new attraction, they may well have to re-route the current beam anyway. They would do well to dust off those old blueprints and consider relocating the monorail station to this newly expanded section. There appears to be room to add restrooms, retail and OTC food and beverage.

More importantly it relocates the monorail station - and the foot traffic it generates - away from an extremely congested area of the park. The subs already generate big crowds in this area and the walkways get squeezed into narrow corridors by TLT, the matterhorn and the lagoon. Both areas would be improved immeasurably by putting the station waaay back there.

Then consider ripping out the PM tracks altogether (sorry dean), and the monorail 'spaghetti bowl' tracks, and instead reroute the monorail beam down the TL promenade - single track - and then straight out to harbor blvd.

I don't see it being that big, there really isn't enough space in that area for a ride of that size. they should just move it into the old FL theatre. It hasn't really been used for anything since 2006, and an attraction would have better use there. Or maybe put philarmagic there instead.

Next thing you know they'll be basing little roller coasters on TV shows from the 90s.
