We don't know what kind of snake it was but someone else said they had also heard a report about this on the news. We hope the poor dear wasn't bitten by anything venomous. If anyone else has more details, please feel free to share.

It's always fun when they get into the JC queue, and we have a good old version of the Simpson's "Whacking Day".

Every once in a while during the summer months, they'll get into the right side of the queue past Awol's office.

And then in the ride, they tend to nest in the Pygmy Beach canoes and the Headhunter canoe.

ORWEN: Tinker Bell was walking toward her float when she first saw the snake slithering toward her. She tried to shoe it away but it wasn't about to be scared off by a fairy.

ORDDU: So the snake ended up biting poor Tink--making it impossible for her to appear in the parade.

ORWEN: We still don't know what kind of snake it was that bit her. But we hope she won't take any more chances like that again. You just don't stand up to a snake from Florida. You get fanged every time!

ORDDU: The last we heard of her, Tinker Bell is going to be fine. She managed to survive the snake bite.

I've only come across snakes at WDW near/in waterways.

Once at night in the SSL at the Poly beach, while kids swam.

A few times around FW too.

Never saw one at a park or hotel.

    Gators are another story.

ORWEN: Maybe they thought it was one of those animatronic snakes you hear tell about.

    ORGOCH: Got anti-venom?
