Please list your ideas, suggestions, and special finds for your gift-giving needs for your tykes (young or old).

For example, someone mentioned the little bean bag characters at disneyshopping.com outlet for $2.99 (plus, you can use a discount for an even lesser price). I myself ordered Mickey & Minnie and Pooh & Eeyore.

I also ordered a trading pin for my daughter.

I am also looking for a suggestion of cute small purses for my daughter and I to carry around the park. Big enough to carry a wallet and small digital camera, but small enough not to be cumbersome. Has anyone seen any good buys for a purse like this? Mervyns, Kohl's, etc.?

What other "finds" have you picked up lately and where?

I got one for me and one for a friend.

If you type in the keyword Disney, several pages of stuff comes up. Several things which are appropriate for the younger set. The little purses for $6.95 are really cute too!

They have the cute Retro Bags. I bought one a couple of years ago for 4Disnee as a "gift" wrap bag to put her present into. They are really cute in person, but I sure didn't get it for THAT price! LOL..they were selling the exact ones at Mervyns a few years ago.

A year ago I found cute pens at Walmart, they have a character on a spring on the top, a feather pouf decoration, and the tips light up when you use them.
I have Mickey, Buzz, Woody, little green alien and Jesse.
My cat tries to eat the feathers off- GRRR!

Dollar Tree is a great place to shop.. have found Mickey suckers, Mickey head cookies, paddleballs and flyers with assorted characters, polly pocket type Belle dolls, stickers.

Target in the dollar spot has Princess/Pooh/Tink notepads, pencils, iron on transfers. In the office supply section they have Cuties folders and notebooks.

I have wind up mini music boxes that I bought at a store on Main Street.
They are $5 each and have the movie's poster art on them.
I have Peter Pan (plays "You Can Fly!"), Sleeping Beauty (plays "Once Upon a Dream") ,and Cinderella (plays "A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes").

The best deal though was the backpack with matching lunchbox that snaps on! The backpack was aroung 6 and the lunchbox only 4!! Also, the pjs were just 3.99 and we have had them before and they are good quality that wash well!

I love that outlet! Also, ordered my own Halloween costume from there! Usually I don't dress up myself but since I will be in the 2nd grade class this year doing the party, the teacher "encouraged" me to dress up! I love the costume, so well made and originally $79 marked all the way down to $30 for a real Disney quality costume. Can't even get something at Target or KMart that cheap and wouldn't be 1/2 as nice! Now I wished I had bought DH a costume too-lol!

I am so thrilled with my purchases! (20% off coupon and free shipping if you spend a certain amount!)

I saw it several other places but it was not as nice and this one comes with leggings too! Also, some of the costumes have seperate arm pieces that people complained about not staying up but these are sewn on to the dress, all one piece. It says originally &79 but with the 20% off coupon and the sale price of $39.99, it came to $30 or 31 plus free shipping! The wig was 7.99 I think too! What a bargain, huh?!Here is the link although I am not sure if I am allowed to post it? <a href="http://disneyshopping.go.com/DSSectionPage.process?Section_Id=11872&Product_Id=197437&CLK=DS__CROSS_IMG&CLKADD=t" target="_blank">http://disneyshopping.go.com/D

My first choice would have been something frilly, girly and beautiful but I'll do anything for my kids-lol. It is really made nicely and will be comfortable too! All I really have to do is a bit of face paint to complete the outfit, already have little black boots, although last night I was searching for a plush zero to carry with me! That would be so cute but then again, I will have enough to carry so unless I find one really cheap, I'll just carry my little Jack-lol!

Now I am working on DH (Jeff) to be Jack. So far it is a no go-lol. He says it would be a waste since he won't be at the party and when we take the kids trick or treating, it is dark anyway.

The outlet section is great, especially since I'm shopping for 4 kids, it adds up fast!

Also, get your husband the costume! 4Disnee's husband was Jack (I think last year) and there was a lot of joking and teasing (in a good way) that went with the costume.

LOL...just remind your hubby how "hot" us girls think Johnny Depp is as Jack Sparrow...and see how quickly he changes his mind! *cheeky grin*
