My understanding is that they have examined his veins and they have been deemed fit for execution. Having said this however, I find the whole thing irrelevant because death is death, and killing someone no matter the reason seems at the very least "unusual" (usual being when the Lord tells you it is time to go). So it is a really moot point to me.

    If I remember right he said he was only an accomplice and not the real killer, again a moot point, accomplice to me is the same deal.

    Problem I have with the "eye for an eye" thing is this guy is not worth the "eye" he stole from society. Killing him doesn't pay me or the rest of society for what he took from us. If killing him meant the victims would come back to life, then I might agree with you, but we know it doesn't.
