In fact, the Wolf's walk towards the camera (the audience's POV) was rotoscoped from "Peter and the Wolf" where we saw that other Wolf doing the exactly walk as seen from Peter's POV as the Wolf has Peter trapped on the tree branch and slowly appoachs toward the boy.
