I'm also a little surprised that Schindler's List isn't in the 90's, but Toy Story is. I guess Toy Story had a much more widespread impact on the film industry, but I think that Schindler's List is a far far superior film, both from an entertainment and artistic standpoint.

Wizard of Oz-I like it I just don't love it.
Citizen Cane-It's a very good movie just outside my top ten for the 40's
Sound of Music-Again a good movie but not one I go crazy over
    Casablanca-Number 11 in the 40's
    It's A Wonderful Life-Again a movie I like just
To Kill a Mocking Bird-Yeah I'm a little mad I forgot about this one
African Queen-Just saw it recently and I liked it but I think I need additional viewings
In the Heat of the Night-Never seen it
Antony and Cleopatra-Never heard of it
Dr Zhivago-I like it but if we're talking David Lean, I go to Bridge on the River Kwai or Lawrence of Arabia
Ghandi-Again a good movie but I only did ten
The Matrix-A great movie no doubt
La Bella Vita (It's a Beautiful Life)-Never saw
Schindler's List-It's a very good movie and certainly worthy of its accolades. But I've only seen it once and that was enough for me.

LOTR-Since the book is considered as one I considered the movies as one too.

The ones I have put in here that you have not seen, I do recommend them.

Also, ET is missing from the 80's - I would put that in there before Die Hard.

Nice, well-informed list, DAR! I'm impressed.

I don't know enough films to compose my own list. (Does "All Your Base Are Belong To Us" count as a film?)

Then I think I'll just have to lurk here and occasionally carp about others' lists. :)
