And how could have The Country Bears failed??? Rebekah and Dug were in it! That's some Oscar-worthy cameos right there!

Seriously in the case of the latter, and I've said this many times, I think all of the bears (including the Head Trio) should have been featured and have all of them sing at the end (including Ernest and Trixie) and Beary should have been named Oscar.

I noticed someone at the link was mock-suggesting Space Mountain...wasn't that supposed to have been a rumored sci-fi film? You know if Bruckheimer was in charge of that, it might be pretty good. Throw in the western Big Thunder as well and you might have something. :)

I've mentioned it a couple times, and nobody's seemed to noticed it. I thought that they were going to make all 4 relatively close together (a year or so between each release), but when POTC did so well, that seemed to put off the Space Mountain project. I'm really happy that someone else remembers that, because I was starting to think I was crazy (which is still a very real possibility)

Did anybody else ever find it strange that they closed the Country Bears in DL just a couple weeks before releasing the movie? If there was ever a chance for synnergy, and a come-back and a tie-in, that would have been it. Of course the film flopped, but there just seemed to be something that didn't quite line up there.
