But then I got to thinking about the Winnie the Pooh comment.
I LOVE Winnie the Pooh! A great memories from my childhood is watching the movie, specifically the blustery day scene. Because of this I love the ride at DL (even if it isn't as great as the WDW version), and ride it on every trip.
One of the first movies we took our daughter to was a Winnie the Pooh movie, and if my kids were still young enough, I'd certainly take them to see the current one. Winnie the Pooh is timeless, and I think it's great that when new generations are born, they still have Pooh Bear around to enjoy.

So, if you can look at Toy Story as that type of franchise, making another might make sense....except maybe not this soon. Wait a good 10 to 15 years in between.

I thought Toy Story 1 concluded the story nicely. Then when Toy Story 2 came out, I thought it was really good and a natural next step for the story. Wrapped it up nicely.

Then Toy Story 3 came out, and now I can't imagine leaving it at Toy Story 2. Toy Story 3 did everything right, and the ending sequence is just some of the most touching film moments I've seen, animation or otherwise.

So I get your point, I really do. But still, in spite of my terrible track record of being wrong, I think enough is enough with the Toy Story sequels. It's a beautiful, fun series of films, and I have no doubt that the talented, creative minds at Pixar are ready to amaze us with the next big thing.

Of course, it's REAL easy for me to say, I'm not the one potentially blowing off the chance to make zillions of dollars on Toy Story 4!
