My two questions, why does the route run along Katella, then along the service road behind DCA then into the pick up area. Instead of going straight up Harbor?

What about the Lion King Tram stop. Why aren't those drop off areas being used instead of the old taxi stand areas?

The bus trip takes about 20 minutes to get from the Toy Story lot to the tram loading area if you hit one or two red lights on Katella. If there's moderate traffic, it slows it down even more.

It makes no sense and had the riders around me becoming angrier the further away we got from the Disneyland main entrance. The only thing I can think of is that some lawyers got involved and demanded that the buses use the internal road system the trams once used instead of just using the most direct route.

Really bad planning on Disney's part, and I don't plan on using Toy Story Lot again.

Another silly thing: When I arrived in the lot on Friday afternoon the ticket sales clerks were all just standing around by their little carts chatting with not a customer in sight. And why would there be?!? Nearly all of SoCal has an AP, so why would we need to buy a ticket to Disneyland in the parking lot???

Seems this has hit a critical point .. and they need to move forward like RIGHT NOW .. On that proposed Pumbaa parking structure.

However, with population growth in the region stalled in the and a saturation of parks in the market already, I'm thinking that Disney will think long and hard before building another park in the area.

I still can't imagine that it would be faster, even in terrible traffic, but it's a possibility...
