With no other delays, you should be able to make the trip in about 5 hours each way, maybe quicker - depending on how fast you drive and how many stops you make along the way. I know they were hoping to have the work done before Christmas, but there have been a few delays due to weather and rock concerts. *LOL*

They purposely chose to assault weekend drivers this time instead of the usual workday commuters. There are a couple of choices... Head straight in and get caught up in direct detours in and around Cajon Pass/Devore, etc., for about 3+ extra hours of drive time. Or... take a long way around for an extra 2 hours of drive time. Nice, huh? ;-)
