It's when you are going from resort to resort that big chunks of time are saved. You *might* save some time using your car going to the parks (since you don't have to wait for a bus) but then again, you may have to wait to enter the park's lot.

Unless you're using valet, it's just more convenient between AKL and the parks. We've never had to long of a wait on either end.
