A long time ago when my daugher was only about 4 my hubby called me at work because he was frazzled. He was home with out daughter who accidently dropped her favorite Mickey glass (yes, it was glass) and was in tears. It was a Thursday, I had a really bad day, and to hear my little one cry was the last straw. I just said really softly into the phone, "Would it make you feel better if we went to Disneyland and got you a new one?" Well, that quieted her down real quick! My hubby got back on the phone and asked what I did. I laughed and told him to pack his bags...we were going to Disneyland tonight (we had annual passes....it was leading into a 3 day weekend...and I really needed a fix at that precise moment!) My hubby was shocked because I am like Questyning, a plotter and planner. My hubby is the spur-of-the-moment kind of guy. He was all for it, although he did want to know who I was and what happened to his wife! It was a really fun, whirl-wind trip. I don't think we hardly got to ride anything because it was so busy and crazy that weekend (think of a bunch of cattle all squished together) but it didn't matter. WE WERE AT DISNEYLAND! Keep that Disney spirit SuzieQ!

First, why buy and take a small thing of mayo and a small thing of mustard, when you can stock pile them. I know that there are alot of fastfood restaurants that hand out musard and mayo in little packets. Check with your local grocery store deli, if they do premade sandwiches, they probably have the individual packets. Just go up to one of them and ask nicely, explaining that your hubby likes alot of mayo on his sandwiches.Could you have some extra packets? Sometimes, like with hotdog places they have them right on the counter. Just make a trip and stock pile. This way you are not putting mayo on something that might not be really well refered all day, you can add the mayo at the last minute. I like your idea about the applesauce and pudding tubes, in ziplock baggies, but why not just pick up the regular premade tubes with a coupon or when it is on sale. This is just one less thing to prep. Last thing , why plan to make breakfast everyday, when you could get a hotel that offers a nice continental breakfast.Until two nights ago, we were supposed to be staying at a hotel, for 69$ a night, that was walking distance to the park. I spent an hour calling around and found a place that is about a mile away (we are just going to get my parking pass)but it has mini- fridge and micro in every room, and a continental breakfast with waffles, for 62.10$ What are we saving, 30$ to buy a big cooler to keep all the cold food in in the other hotel, My sanity, fruit budget (we just take a couple extra apples and oranges from the breaky buffet)and about 8$ a night. The other place could have added a fridge for 10$, per night. I would buy the cheap rubbermaid, storage containers, instead of taking actual Tupperware. You can get four of those for like 2$.

The other is called Disney Detective, this one tells you all about stuff, It tells you where to find hidden mickes, the history behind the names on the main street windows and a bunch of other stuff. They cost a total of 25$ we paid for 2 day shipping , but if you have the time , they qualify for free shipping (two weeks). We want to take a day and look for all the hidden mickeys. The quiz one is something we want to ask eachother in lines and stuff. Just a few ideas from your loveable, Cheshire

I'm listing that RIGHT NOW! :c) As far as breakfast, I'm including things to make breakfast in case we wake too early for the continental or in case it's just too crowded for us. I'm not interested in waiting around for an hour for breakfast if I can just as easily fix something in our room. We are staying at a place which has continental breakfast, but I'm also afraid it will be mostly carbs and with the kids having such a big day ahead of them I don't want them to crash too early for their naps, so a well-balanced breakfast is important to me. :c) And the applesauce/pudding in a ziploc thing was just a way to be frugal for us. I can buy them at the store here locally (or there in Anaheim, for that matter) but I have the time between now and then to make and freeze them before we go, so it's no trouble to do. Might leave us with enough extra money for an extra churro or two for everyone come trip-time! Mmmm....churros! And you're right about the rubbermaid containers from the store! That's what I have! I *mistakenly* (blushing) call them Tupperware 'cause I was raised in a house with a mom who was constantly having tupperware parties and so that's the brand name I'm used to. But I have a bunch of sealable containers at home, so those are what I'm taking some stuff in. Most of it, though, will be in ziploc-type bags, I think. I appreciate the feedback and have added some ideas from others, as well! That workbook really IS a work-in-progress, so I'm sure it will grow by leaps and bounds by the time we leave town! 48 more days to go! :c)
