Yes, Worf has been hanging around humans too long I think, and it's made him a bit of a softy. But it *is* a science FICTION show, so while the writers tried to make some of it seem realistic, they got a lot of things very wrong sometimes. <<and that same show! they ended up BLASTING on KILL! with the phasers! .. now we ALL know on Kill it vaperizes the thing! in this bad thought show . only the small creater crawled out of them. and the human was ok!.. NOT! you KNOW its human flesh! there fore it WOULD have vaperized them ! Right! ??>> If I recall correctly, the phasers have 16 power settings. Why sometimes it vaporizes matter and other times it just blows it up, I don't know. I guess dramatic license is mostly why. A very good book about what is scientifically possible, impossible, and improbable about what is seen on the show is "The Physics Of Star Trek" by Lawrence M. Krauss.

As for Klingons *actually* being stronger than humans, if you watch the famous classic Star Trek episode "The Trouble With Tribbles" there is a bar fight between the crew of the Enterprise and some Klingons... it's an even match for the most part. There are other shows with Kingons and humans battling each other too. So all on-screen evidence seems to indicate that Klingons are about the same strength as humans.
