My lastest friend who just joined me, used to sing in my choir and has now moved to Edmonton (15 years later). Yet, he still remembered me.

There are so many LPers on FB, and I'm tempted to friend all of them, but I'm trying to curb that habit, lol...

It makes it easier in touch. There are about 500 contacts of mine in linked in, be these are for business purposes. I try to keep Facebook strictly social, and no family (other than my wife and in-laws).

One thing I've found useful is separating my friends into "lists." That way, I can browse what my LP friends are saying without seeing the posts from my co-workers, and vice versa.

As alex said, you can also click on the lists and look at the updates of only those people...

Agreed, though I like reading everyone's updates and commenting as appropriate. Or occassionally having a wide group makes for great market testing/pushing the frontiers of my beliefs/finding fun stuff from the internet!

So, I prefer not
to have her among my friends.

That is my latest manoeveur. I put another person on ignore and then check them out when I'm in the mood for whining.

Most of my friends don't post a lot. So, it's all manageable.
