I'm hoping to take advantage of early entry on Saturday, but since the parking structure doesn't open until 7:30am, and the shuttle service from the RV park where we'll be staying doesn't leave until 7:30am, I guess we'll be taxiing over there. Is early entry always 7am?

They've stopped selling day tickets and restricted entry to Disneyland every day this week so far. Your second-hand info is mostly correct, except the 8:20am time estimate is way off. If your friends were there at 1:20pm, that would have been the correct time to be denied entry into Disneyland.

But there's always Disney's California Adventure!

Anaheim Police showed up shortly after 8 AM to start Traffic Control on the streets near the park. Heck, the special bypass bridge over Ball was totally full, and the police were sending folks down Ball to Magic Way, and then making the turn into the lot.

And they were sending folks trying to park in Timon to the overflow DtD lot behind the Paradise Pier Hotel.

And people wonder why the DCA's attendance is up 3% this year. ;-)

Hopefully all this madness calms down before I get there - the last week of August.

Do anyone remember it being this way before ?
