At its worst, it's a good diversion while waiting for your Space Mountain fast pass to take effect.

Unfortunately, I spent a solid 2-to-3 minutes in line texting out my best joke to submit and they didn't read it. Ah, well.

    Is it interactive like Crush?

In the Turtle Talk show the illusion is complete. You actually think you see Crush in an aquarium. You speak with Crush and he sees you and talks back to you. The mouth, body gestures, eyes, face and movements by Crush make him appear to be alive. The sound matches up perfectly. It is a very convincing experience.

By comparison, the Laugh Floor is not convincing at all. The characters look as if they are blind and unable to “see†the audience. Their movements look artificial and “cartoonyâ€. The sound synchronization is always off by half a beat (either too slow or too fast). Their attempts at audience interaction don’t work well. They end up resorting to embarrassing audience camera capture shots.

In short, the technical problems still persist and they haven’t solved them. The script writers designed the Laugh Floor as a sort of amateur show. It works only in the sense that it resembles a bad comedy act at the Apollo Theater.

Clearly they were in a rush to capitalize upon and repeat the success of Turtle Talk. Unfortunately, poor implementation doomed the Laugh Floor from the start and the tweaking they’ve done hasn’t helped.

Again I guess when you only look for the negative that's all your going to find.

I asked a few people that had experienced the attraction about their impressions and no one had a favorable review. The consensus from the people I spoke with was that the show is a total bore fest.

The other attractions in the same general area (CoP, Buzz, Astro, Stitch) all had significant guest crowds while Laugh Floor could only muster a few guests. Its lack of popularity is indicative of its quality.
