The "Disney Stars and Motor Cars parade" currently showing at MGM will be shipped over to the Walt Disney Studios, while DLP itself is finally getting a new Parade, titled "Once upon a Dream".

    Considering the huge cost of building the MGM parade I'm not surprised that it is heading elsewhere. It really wasn't worth the investment that WDW dumped into it. The conversion on the cars was more expensive than they ever imagined.

    If I had it my way...I would make the whole motorcar parade disappear. Not even ailing DLP is worth this turkey of a rolling show. Plus, after seeing how they destroyed TDL's Fantillusion...I can only wonder what will happen to an already bad parade in their hands..

    It is true there will be a new parade for Disneyland park in 2007. But there are no official words on what it will look like or what it will be named.
    About the Walt Disney Studios, some insiders say they only will change the name of the Disney Cinema Parade and will use the Stars and motorcars parade theme (which they are already using for the Good Morning Walt Disney Studios Mini Parade at the moment)
    If it is true though that they will get the motorcars parade, Im not sure if i will like it. Their current parade is still very cool and has very well done music. to bad they skipped the Goofy preshow en stops though. those made the parade rock!
