    Scene 1-All Star Movies
Even though I was tired I woke up at about 5:00 A.M. Shortly thereafter the kids woke up. I turned the TV on quietly to keep them happy and I got in the shower. By the time I came out it was about 6:00 and Brenda had woken up so we decided to go ahead and go to Epcot for EMH. I got myself and the kids ready while Brenda showered and dressed. By 7:00 we were out the door and on our way to the bus stop. An Epcot bus was pulling up as we got to the stop so we ran and caught it with zero waiting.

    Scene 2-Epcot
When we got to Epcot I couldn’t find my room key and was worried that I wouldn’t be able to get in for EMH without it so I stopped at Guest Relations and they gave me a card that I could use. We quickly went through security which they have thankfully moved back from the turnstiles and entered the park. Brenda figured out the biometrics with no problem and we were off. Brenda had never seen topiaries before so I took her picture in front of these:
We walked passed Spaceship Earth and directly to Pin Central so I could pick up my Pin Pursuit card and my first Pin Pursuit pin, Pluto in the stocking.
I also purchased the Aristocats 35th Anniversary pin.

By the time my Purchase was complete it was just about time for rope drop and we walked politely over to the land, parked the stroller and headed down to Soarin’. I picked up fast passes in case we wanted to take a second ride, and went to get in the standby line. We got a baby swap pass and I got in line. After a short wait I was Soarin’ over California! This ride is so wonderful! I had been on it in California but this was the first time at WDW. I was so excited for Brenda to experience it so I went right out. She and the kids had been upstairs at the Kidcot station. Brenda was a little nervous about the ride but I told her it was worth any mild wooziness she might experience. She got in line and the kids had a little bit of freedom while we waited. Brenda LOVED it! I’m so glad I pushed her to got on! There was no wait or Living With the Land so we hopped right on. I have always loved this attraction. It never gets old for me. By the time we got off, we were all pretty hungry, so we got a snack of yogurt, fruit, juice, Diet Coke and a chocolate chip muffin from Sunshine and Seasons. Charlie ate Yogurt and Fruit. Brenda ate Fruit and Annika and I shared the muffin…well, I ate most of the muffin and she picked the chocolate chips out of her piece! Refreshed and full of caffeine we headed upstairs to see Circle of Life. This show always makes me tear up.

Everyone liked it and when we finished up we headed out of The Land and over to The Living Seas. Because of the rehab, we went directly to Seabase Alpha. On the way in Annika found a Nemo pen that she liked so I let her buy it with her money from the Disney party. We went in and the line for Turtle Talk was crazy long so we just looked at the Nemo exhibit,

the manatees and went upstairs to see if we could see the dolphins. We didn’t see them but we did get to watch a few guests diving. Pretty cool…I’d like to do this one day. When we were finished we walked over to Journey into Your Imagination and took a ride with Figment and then had some fun playing in the Imagination Laboratory.

After some play time and a little shopping in the gift shop we had to decide whether to take the kids into Honey I Shrunk the Audience. I had never taken Annika in before but she had been watching the 2004 travel DVD and had been telling me that we were going to “see the ‘wion’ and scream†so I really wanted to try. I figured that worst case, we would take one or both of them out. Charlie, of course wouldn’t wear the 3-D glasses. While we waited in line Annika started to get very sleepy and nearly fell asleep but woke up and really liked the movie. She flinched a few times when things flew at us, but wasn’t scared. Charlie seemed oblivious. Brenda had never seen a 3-D film before and thought it was great. When we came out, the kids played a few minutes in the little red fountains

We then had to decide whether to go back to the hotel and rest, have lunch, or head right over to MGM. We shopped at Mouse Gear for a bit while we decided. This was our first glimpse at Annika’s true criminal nature. We walked past the bulk candy display and she stopped. She clearly wanted to take some candy, but I told her to come on. She told me “Mommy, go away!†I told her that in our family we don’t shoplift and that I was on to her clever scheme, but she continued to tell me to “weave, Mommy!†After about 10 minutes of trying to coax her away I finally compromised and bought her a bag of Spots (essentially M&M’s in a 101Dalmations bag.) A cast member noticed Annika’s B-day badge and arranged for Goofy to call her and wish her Happy Birthday! We traded a few pins and decided to go to the Electric Umbrella for lunch. Brenda had the Bacon Double Cheeseburger meal, Iced Tea and Cheesecake. I had the Turkey Wrap, Diet Coke and Cheesecake. The total would have been 27.73. The kids had mac and cheese which I paid for OOP. This was the only counter service place the whole trip that gave us large beverages on the meal plan. During our meal, we decided to hang around until we had to leave for MGM for our ADR’s at 50’s Prime Time Café, so I ran over to Test Track and picked up a couple of Fast Passes.

After our meal we went over to use the FP’s. Brenda went first and loved it. Then I went in and when I came out I couldn’t find Brenda and the kids. Finally I found them and both kids had fallen asleep. Brenda and I took advantage of this by taking a leisurely stroll around World Showcase toward the International Gateway for our boat ride to the Disney MGM Studios. On the way we did a little pin trading with cast members and at some point Charlie woke up, so I carried him in the sling. As we approached the IG we saw Brenda’s very favorite characters, Chip and Dale, doing a Meet and Greet so we HAD to have a photo taken. Annika was still asleep so just Brenda and Charlie were in the picture.

We just missed a boat, so we had to wait 15 or 20 minutes for the next. While we did, I took a few photos of Charlie just playing. We caught the boat and enjoyed a relaxing trip to the Studios via the Boardwalk, Yacht and Beach Clubs and Swan and Dolphin resorts. On the way over, Annika woke up in a smiley good mood, so we were all ready for our dinner at 50’s PT.

    Scene 3-Disney MGM Studios
We arrived at the Studios, went through security and went through the turnstiles…well…Annika, Charlie and Brenda did. My AP wouldn’t register, so the CM at the turnstile went and got me a replacement. By this time we had to head right over to make it for our4:50 ADR. We checked in and were taken to our table. I can’t remember what our server’s name was but she was very nice. We saw “Uncle Charlie†who had served us back in March. He complained that we never send pictures, LOL! We had one of the tables that has a TV so that was good for the kids.

We ordered our meals. Brenda got the Shrimp Cocktail, Pasta Primavera and Iced Tea. I got the Smoked Seafood Dip, the Pot Roast and Diet Coke. We split the S’mores for dessert and used the other dessert credit to get Annika the Make-it-Yourself Sundae. The total would have been $65.94. The kids shared our meals and we paid for a Mickey’s Be-Bop drink OOP. The Pot Roast was AMAZING. MMMM it was sooo good! Annika’s favorite part of the meal was playing with the dessert menu which was presented on a view master!

We did some diaper changes and put on Charlie’s Mickey suit and Annika’s poncho to keep them warm for the Osborne Lights.

We meandered over to the lights, trading some pins along the way. The lights were incredible, truly amazing!

After seeing the lights we walked up Mickey Avenue and over to the BAH (Big A__ Hat) so I could get my stamp and pin

for the Pin Pursuit. We caught our little thief in another attempted heist at the pin store where she tried to steal a pin from the shelf. Later we found her with a light-up ball that we have no idea from where she swiped it! When we were done at the pin store we worked our way over to Fantasmic! In all of my trips to WDW I have never seen this show and even though we were tired we decided to stick it out. Charlie was asleep in the sling and Annika was in the stroller. We parked the stroller and Annika got out to walk. We got seats high up and to the right as you face the stage. Not the best seats but it beats in line! Fantasmic! ROCKS! Wow! For a few years now Festival of the Lion King has been my hands down favorite show at WDW, but it has been surpassed by Fantasmic! Annika’s eyes popped out of her head. She recognized all of the characters in the Bubbles segment and was very excited to see her favorite, Cruella Devil. During the Villain part of Mickey’s dream. It was just fantasti…I mean Fantasmic! We got out quickly and got our stroller. Brenda needed to use the girls’ room so we went to the one near Tower of Terror. While we waited for her I noticed that the wait time for TOT was less than 5 minutes, so when Brenda came out I handed the sleeping boy over to her and went on the ride with NO wait! YAY! This was the first time I had gone on TOT in the dark. I really love it (but not quite as much as I love Soarin’!)

We traded a few pins walked on out, stopping for a candy apple for Brenda on the way out. We had lingered long enough after Fantasmic! That the bus lines were small and we had a very short wait for our bus to our hotel.

    Scene 4- All Star Movies
The kids were tired so back at the hotel Brenda helped me get them to the room and then she went to fill our mugs, buy milk for the kids and get ice. I got them to bed and then showered and got myself to bed while Brenda phoned her boyfriend.
