The author, in talking about the new Ellen version, says "Also featured in this new presentation are Wallace Shawn, Alex Trebek, Tim Conway, Rue McClanahan and John Ratzenberger." Now, of course we know where Alex shows up. And most of us know that Michael Richards (Kramer from Seinfeld) is the caveman who discovers fire. But I don't recall seeing Wallace Shawn (short bald guy, worst voice ever, was Fezzik in The Princess Bride), Tim Conway, Rue McClanahan (one of the Golden Girls), or John Ratzenberger (Cliff from Cheers). Can anyone shed any light on these folks? I'd love to look for them if they are indeed in the film. Thanks.

It's like saying Gilbert Godfried has a one of the worst voices in media. Or Harvey Fierstein... Or Roseanne... Unusual voices? Yes. 'worst voice ever'? Hardly.

My categorization of worst voice is based on the usual media criteria of pleasant sounding, non-accented, articulate voices like you'd hear on the average commercial. But would you want Wallace Shawn (or Gilbert or Harvey or Roseanne) selling your product? Unless they were an on camera spokesperson, I'd guess nope. Yes, their voices are unusual. And by most standards, they aren't very pleasant. But that doesn't diminish from their talent in any way, and I appreciate what they've done to make names for themselves. Didn't mean to offend.

Those audio clips are mostly background that could have been done by any good voice actor. >> Could it be that Tim Conway played Al Einstein in the Jeopardy scenes? << Also possible, but I'm thinking not. What would be the purpose to hire a name actor to play Einstein, but then make him up so much that you couldn't recognize him for who he was? I think it's going to take another roadtrip to check this out personally.
