I had the honour and privilege of eating Uh-Oh Oreos in 2005 on my USA trip. In this poor deprived country I live in, we only have 'standard' Oreos. Anyway, I journeyed around the US (well, I went to California and Florida) again last November and COULDN'T FIND THEM! I mean, yes the Double Stuf were my priority, but the Uh-Ohs were a close second. I'm sure you understand my pain, especially considering my "2007 USA To-Do List" had "eat Uh-Oh Oreos" as number 3, after "ride POTC" and "buy pretty-smelling hand gel".

Oh! And M-Azing bars! I couldn't find them either!! And don't even get me started on the C2, that delightful somewhat-low-sugar Coke drink I *also* enjoyed in 2005 but couldn't find in 2007. If not for Disneyland, Bath and Body Works and Rice Krispy treats, I would've stomped my foot and declared I'd never be back due to my lack of Uh-Oh Oreos and M-Azing bars. (And, to a lesser extent, C2, but American Coke tastes different to Australian Coke so that was somewhat of a novelty anyway).

So, my question(s): Do they still make them? (Please keep in mind that if you tell me they don't, you'll break my heart. I'm still holding out hope that I'll come across them on my 2009 holiday). And if they do still make them, are they actually readily accessible and we were just horribly unlucky, or are they only found in elite suburban areas and not in the tourist traps we found ourselves in? Or *ominous music* was I having one giant hallucination on my 2005 trip and DREAMT UP Uh-Oh Oreos, M-Azing Bars AND C2? Did I even GO to the US in 2005 or was it some kind of weird, long and highly-detailed dream?!?!?!

Your assistance in this matter is greatly appreciated.

That was pretty good, huh!? Haven't seen it for QUITE a while, but you know what I REALLY miss? Coca-Cola Black, the coffee-ized stuff! MmmmM! Like dessert. Can't find it anyplace, though a couple of bottles at a time had been trickling into my local Longs (slow drip).

Maybe we'll have to check ebay for all of these things...

Uh-Ohs -- the cream inside is chocolate and the biscuits were a light golden-y colour, like they'd been turned inside out. I think that's what they were called, anyway!

Sorry for ruining your day. : (

As for M-Azing bars, I think they still make them. I don't know when the last time I specifically remember seeing one was, but I would guess that it was within a couple months (but I don't frequent the candy aisle of the grocery store or gas stations often). I would be a little surprised if they discontinued them, but not entirely shocked.

As for Coke Black, I thought it was horrible! I'm not a coffee person at all, so that probably had something to do with it, but it seemed like they took something that was perfectly fine on its own (Coke) and just made it taste absolutely repulsive. The worst part about it was that a friend made me try it when we were just starting a road trip, so it was several hours before I had the chance to get anything to wash the taste out.

I liked Coca-Cola Black, too. Mmm, coffee.

Re the M-Azing bars, I should add I went to a sweets shop last night that sells American candy and they had M-Azing bars there. It didn't have a used-by date on it though, and given my M-Azing-Less November vacation I was a little worried it might have been old stock, but maybe it's okay...!

Clearly, I have too much time on my hands.

just be sure to get your order in quick if you see something you want because they tend to sell out fast (they are always running out of root beer).

    Hope this helps.

Yeah, I don't understand that one. We have Coke Zero here too, but I really don't like it - tastes too 'diet' to me. C2 tasted better IMO!

Alice - I haven't noticed the difference, thankfully. I don't think they changed them here and I was worried the Double Stufs wouldn't be as good in November because I'd heard they'd changed them, but they were still yummmmmy!

Ah, the Coca-Cola Black...we bought one 12 oz. bottle and never opened it. Wikipedia has articles about the short-lived soda brethren, like the "upside-down" 7-Up, called dnL.

Huff! Not when we were there. We went to grocery stores, candy-candy-candy stores, newsagents, etc and nothin'. We didn't get to Target though, which is where I found them in '05.

    I feel deprived.

    I have to go back.
