For Epcot and their evening EMH, what times would Future World and World Showcase shut down since each area has their own times? Are you better off to goto the park that has evening EMHs or stay away from that park due to the crowds? I would think that the morning EMHs wouldn't have the same type of problem since many people won't drag thier fanny perpendicular for early morning hours while on vacation. Mahalo! JT
Originally Posted By bloona hello! www.allearsnet.com is quite good at explaining the EMH, dates etc. We thought the Animal Kingdom evening EMH was fantastic, it was for three hours after the normal park closing time, you have to queue to get a wrist band from one of about 5 places in the park and show your room key to prove youre staying on site, they after the park closes to others, you need to show this band to get onto a ride. The Epcot one was also for three hours and that day future world didnt close at 7 as it usually does, it all styayed open until 9, then selected rides stayed open for the EMH, it was extremely busy and there were no fast passes, we queued ages to get on Mission Space ( it had been a walk on when we went earlier in the day) so we only stayed an hour. You can get a list of which rides/food outlets are staying open the extra hours, when you get your wrist band. We could never get one earlier than this. The morning EMH at the water parks was good,it meant you could get your sunbed and set your things out etc, before the majority arrived. The morning EMH at MGM was very busy and the park was much much busier during the day then than usual. enjoy your trip

The best advice get up early for park opens and go back to your hotel for pool or naps and take the time for one sit down meal evry day to give you the energy to continue on. Two visits ago I realized how much that helped. Sit down, relax your legs and feet, digest your food and you are good to go.

From what I've read, the evening EMH's are pretty busy for the first hour & 1/2 or so. Then things quiet down. So if you can be patient, the last half should give you quite a few walk-ons. The morning EMH is also dependent on what attractions are open. For me, only the MK morning EMH has any value. You can do most of Fantasyland and Tomorrowland in that first hour, then tour till things get crowded around lunchtime, and then hop over to another park for the rest of the day. There just aren't enough attractions open at the other parks to make EMH work for me.

I could easily ride it 3 or 4 times in a row, which might be possible with no lines. I'll have to give that one a shot!
