US kicked out of Venezuela

    Note that he's ready to bring a diplomat back as soon as there is a new administration, so he's doing it more for show than anything. Still a new low though.

    I'm as inclined to believe Chavez as I am "U.S. Officials". It's entirely possible that Chavez is correct and the bush administration is attempting to assassinate him. And if they are, they're certainly not going to admit it.

    On a side note, Major League Baseball is more than a little interested in this. many players come from Venezuela. There is a chance, depending on how far Chavez takes this latest claptrap, that he either refuses to let out any more players to spite the U.S., refuses to let star players return to here once they go home after the season, expel their operations, whatever. It would seem crazy for him to do that considering the money involved, but Chavez is not known for his sanity.
