And there are tons of other great restaurants downtown. Millennium park is beautiful. They have an outdoor concert hall. The Chicago Symphomy rehearses out there and you can sit and watch them for free. There's also the "Bean" in that park, and it's pretty cool. I haven't been up the Sears Tower, but I went up to the top of the John Hancock tower and it was amazing. It overlooks the lake and, on certain nights, you can see the fireworks at Navy Pier from above. We went up there while the sun was still up, watched the sunset, then watched the fireworks. It was a great first night in Chicago. If you like baseball, Wrigley field is a short train ride from downtown. They have great Broadway shows there, as well. As you can probably tell, I love Chicago. There is just so much to do and see there. I can't wait for my next trip.

Don't miss it!>> That is the Museum of Science and Industry. It is a fantastic museum... easily good for a whole day. The Field Museum of Natural History is also a great museum. At least a half-day to see it, you could easily spend a full day there. Navy Pier. Restaurants, retail and amusements. A lot of fun, some of it pricey. Buckingham Fountain. Absolutely spectacular -- especially at night when lit with colored lights. What the Epcot fountain wants to be when it grows up. John Hancock Observation Deck. Not quite as tall as the Sears (94 stories), but the deck is open air instead of behind glass like the Sears. The view is also far superior in my opinion. The Magnificent Mile. One of the most beautiful upscale shopping districts in the U.S. Wendella Boat Cruise on the Chicago River and Lake Michigan. A great way to see and learn about Chicago's downtown.

I did walk up Michagan Ave a few times which was great. I had such a great time, I plan on returning to Chicago and see more of the city next year.
