I couldn't decide if it was for flavor, or if it help make the dough "stick" together more or somethin'. But the bottle does say "Imitation Vanilla Flavoring", but I thought well it can't be just for flavor obviously, it's only a teaspoon. lol Once again, the avocado green ice bucket with gold trim is living up to its secret use. The cookies are being housed nice 'n warm inside it, and are again easily tranported between home and work.

It's also a way to cool down spicy foods, especially if your salsa/chili is to hot. Just put a few drops in and it'll take some of the bite out. My abuela used to use it on burns too. A few drops to a burnt tongue or finger. Cools the burn down. ;>
