The third video gives the best view of Luigi's Tires that I've seen thus far, and includes a CM giving instructions on how to operate the tires and a couple of guests who actually listened and are zipping around in their tires.

Awesome video overview of Carsland shops, restaurants and attractions (with wonderful music from “Cars”). Video by WDWINFO.

Disney 1281’s walk-through video of Carsland shops and eateries, with a better view of Cozy Cone Motel. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v...e=relmfu

Disney 1281’s full ride video of Luigi’s Flying Tires, complete with a CM Matt’s group presentation on how to operate the flying tires. Some folks listened to CM Matt and operate their tires pretty well. And other folks….well not so much. Lol.

To some up, heaviest person in the center, try to keep the center of gravity there, lean together the direction you want to go, but don't lean too far. It looks like gentle coordinated leaning is the key here with weight away from the edges so the tire doesn't squish to the ground.

I rode one once and it was pretty fun, although I wouldn't wait an hour to it.

In other words, if you want to move left, don't lean left, but rather, scooch your whole bodies down the bench, slightly to the left of center.

I have no way of knowing if this is correct, but this poster said she and friend were able to go much faster that way than by leaning.

(Notice that with 3 people they do tell you the heaviest person should be IN the center).

So with two, perhaps the heavier person should sit only slightly left or right of center, and the lighter person more towards the end, to balance better. Then scooch or lean accordingly when you want to move.

It would make sense - but again, I haven't ridden, and won't for a while.

It was my 6 yo daughter and me in the tire yesterday and I sat myself just to the side of center to try and balance out our weight. Leaning too far did "bottom" us out a couple of times, but when we did it right, which for us was more of a shift in weight AND leaning, we did FLY! I posted elsewhere that you need to find an open lane, which we did twice, and we did move fast.
