To some up, heaviest person in the center, try to keep the center of gravity there, lean together the direction you want to go, but don't lean too far. It looks like gentle coordinated leaning is the key here with weight away from the edges so the tire doesn't squish to the ground.

Then scooch or lean accordingly when you want to move.>> It was my 6 yo daughter and me in the tire yesterday and I sat myself just to the side of center to try and balance out our weight. Leaning too far did "bottom" us out a couple of times, but when we did it right, which for us was more of a shift in weight AND leaning, we did FLY! I posted elsewhere that you need to find an open lane, which we did twice, and we did move fast.
